Magali Pascal was born in a small city near Paris, and studied art and design at the preparatory art school ‘’Atelier de Sevres’, where she trained to sit the
famously difficult exam of ENSAD ( decoratif art school of Paris). Her passion and drive for design and extraordinary test results earned her a place at the renowned school, and she went on to specialise in textiles and scenography, and major in fashion design.

Magali trained with some of Europe’s leading artists and designers, including the conceptual artist Lucie Ortha, French designer Marc Lebihan and Irish
designer Sharob Waushob. After learning from the very best, and having practical experience preparing collections and catwalk shows, it was time for Magali to go out on her own.

In 2002, Magali launched her first collection, “BLOOM”, for Les Galeries Lafayette of Paris, featuring in Paris’ “Nuits Blanches Artistiques”, the city’s annual festival of art and culture.

Today, Magali designs her label in France and produces most pieces in Bali. She divides her time between Bali and Paris. In Paris, Magali sources beautiful fabrics, and finds much of the inspiration for her collections. But the influence of her relaxed Balinese lifestyle is no less important. The combination of Magali’s two favourite places on earth, her rigorous training, and her undeniable talent creates a label with a distinct handwriting that is clear in every item she produces.

Magali Pascal has a surreal style - simple, yet beautifully embellished. Fabrics glisten and glitter with a youthful radiance. There is a girly element to the label, without girly frills and flowers. And it’s that very rare find, the perfect shortcut to glamour for day and night.
